two cards have both corrupted

I was drawn by the price and brand name, as I am using Sony A-77s. I have two cards and both, in less than a year, have corrupted my RAW files. I am trying to recover the latest corrupt card but it requires a PC rather than a Mac, so have to find a friend whose PC I can use...an oversight on Sony's part for a start in terms of Mac compatibility. I'd say stick with SanDisk, which have never let me down in the past. I'll be abandoning Sony memory cards after this repeat experience.
