I'm on my second microwave within 3 months. The first one failed after 2 weeks, had it repaired, it broke again 6 weeks later. JUNK! The current microwave has developed a buzzing sound.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet, even heating, excellent value!!

Replaced a different brand that only lasted about 1 1/2 years. The previous GE lasted 8 years. Went back to GE for the quality

Love the microwave with the exception of the surface light. Not bright enough with 40 watt bulbs. Cannot find 60 watt bulbs to replace

This oven was a great investment. While it was part of the kitchen package of my home purchase, I am very pleased with all the great features it has and highly recommend it to any home buyer.
