Powerful microwave but touchpad layout is poor

This is a great, powerful microwave. My husband and I installed it ourselves and it was a pretty easy job. We love the look but I have one major complaint - the way the touch pad is laid out is not intuitive. The cook time button that you MUST hit first before punching in the time you want, is buried amidst other buttons. It should be in a stand out spot so you don't have to hunt for it. We've been using this microwave for more than 4 months and I still hit the wrong button at least half the time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Convenience buttons difficult to use

The convenience buttons are all but worthless. For example, when you press "vegetable", you have to enter a type 1-3. But it doesn't say what 1-3 are until you select it. If it isn't what you want, you have to cancel and start over. Not even the owner's manual tells you the codes. Then once you figure out what you want, it asks for weight in ounces. If you aren't using an entire package with the weight labeled, you have to guess. Our old microwave would list the options then ask for number of servings. I don't even bother with these buttons anymore and just guess how long I will need and enter a time.
This microwave came with our new house and was selected by the builder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Control panel can not be cleaned properly. Fan has no strength. Door fogs up easily when cooking on stove.

A little noisy

Units bumps and grinds when the table is turning, The oven us vented outside, but leaked a great deal of air into the house

I bought this item and not even one week of buying it new the computer board had to be replaced so its not new.

Hard to see

I replaced my old GE Microwave with this one. Though the installation was straightforward, after the installation I had trouble seeing the printing control pad buttons. Old Microwave were in white against a black background. Now they are dim gray and difficult to see. Is there lighting behind the pad to make the printing easier to wee?

Stopped Working!

I bought my microwave in Jan. 2017. I live by myself and use the microwave very infrequently. It just stopped a few weeks ago. All the obvious items to check have been checked (e.g., fuses). Will not buy this model again.
