I love my new GE Microwave. I have a couple of other GE Products and hope to complete my kitchen with all GE appliances. They are always beautiful & never disappoint. My new microwave is wonderful. It's quiet, efficient and I love the new touchpad. Thank you, GE!

Has some strange kinks.

On ours after only a few months we noticed it does not always start a cycle if we don't push the door in hard. And also has an annoying feature where the fan kicks on if I guess it feels it's to warm and you cannot override to shut off. Not very nice if you have company over and it is making that noise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked well for a little while

My microwave now is a fancy lit storage box with a vent-a-hood with storage. Only after a short time the microwave no longer microwaves. The light comes on and the table stills turns but the main function has stopped. After research I have learned that over the stove microwave with venta-a-hoods are not as practical as they are sold to be. I found in my research that many other people have had the same issues. I maintained my filter system per instructions that came with the machine but it seems that regardless of following these instructions, steam from cooking with the combination use of the vent-a-hood causes issues with the electronic components inside the microwave. Very disappointing because we designed our kitchen to have the look of a over the stove microwave

My original unit was accidently damaged by a home contractor. Of course they offered to replace my damaged microwave. This unit was available with the right functions. The look, ease of use and adequate functions fits my needs. Thanks GE!

Parts to repair the keypad in this microwave are almost as much as a new microwave. Disgusted and am changing brand loyalty from GE. Not throwing any more money at this lemon!
