Nice Replacement for our 20 Year Old Microwave

We had a circa 1995 GE Microwave that was part of the new house we bought. It worked fine but every 5 years so the door handle would break off. In 2015 when the last handle broke, we could not find any replacement handles. So we decided to buy a new unit. We bought GE again because, in spite of the handle problem we like the GE microwave. This new one has exceeded our expectations so far. It has the carousel and some improvements as well being a bit larger and a bit more powerful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I only had the appliance 21 days before I needed a service call. It turned itself on in the middle of the night and ran all night.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use nice feautures

I bought this product 4 months ago. While our old microwave had more functions it would spontaneously turn itself on and the vent fan would start at random times. The GE we got as a replacement was relatively easy to install with the right tools and has been working great. We are happy with it.

Needed repairs!

We purchased this in August and it stopped working in 2 months. We did get a free repair, but due to the fact that it's over the range it was a pain to have to take down and then put it back up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
