I haven't bought one in awhile [ my GE model is still going strong ] - this was for a friend and I'm amazed at its quietness.

Easy installation

I bought this MW to replace a similar GE model that was 8 yrs old, that had the control pad burn out. Installation was simple as I was able to use the same mounting brackets and holes, so total time was about 30 minutes. Just tested it with a glass of water and it appears to be working great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This microwave came with my new home. If you touch the surface, you end up with fingerprints/streaks/etc. that are very visible and unsightly. Will be replacing ASAP. Works okay but is nothing special.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Microwave

Our microwave suddenly quit on us right before the holidays and we had to replace it. As our previous unit was over-range, we were looking for something similar. This one looks fantastic and has performed well. It was easy to install, if a bit heavy, and we had the old one out and new one in within an hour. Definitely recommend.

The keyboard controls are all in the wrong place compared to the GE one we bought in 2009.
The POPCORN function needs an additional 30 sec. to completely pop the kernals!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
