The right size for our application,was replacing a range hood when came across the microwave and it compliments our kitchen and works great. Like the vented feature and it lined up with our old exhaust vent to the outside.It is a quick cooker and quiet, controls are well placed and easy to figure which button to use for what your doing. Love the express feature, saves a lot of time.

I did have some difficulty installing it because the fan is only 1/2" from the rear of the unit. This is also where my cabinet framework is. On my previous 20 + year old GE unit the
fan was not that close to the rear. I did get it installed, it looks and works great!

REPLACED OLDER GE MICROWAVE

It fit right into the spot where my older GE unit was. I got the white one this time after having a black which was very difficult to keep the exterior clean.
This unit is not the quality of the one purchased in 2004. The touch buttons are smaller, arranged differently and harder to push, the wire rack is much poorer quality, the turntable is smaller so I can't use the old one if it breaks, and, even though it is supposed to be more powerful, it takes a little longer to heat foods. I do like the new charcoal filter which is going to be easy to changerl although the bottom washable filters were two on the old unit and now this has only one.
I would recommend this to a friend!
