New GE microwave

This was a replacement to an existing GE Microwave that was 12 years old. We replaced with a GE model that was almost the same as the older model. The older model wasn't made anymore. We are very pleased with this microwave as much as or more than the old microwave.

Replaced GE Profile Microwave that was twenty years old (still worked). Significant design improvements. Excellent microwave!

Bought this to replace a 10 year old GE microwave. Installation was simple and was able to use existing wall bracket and predilection holes in cabinet. New unit very simple to use and has basic everyday functions.

Love having an above stove Microwave.

Looks great and easy controls. This is my first microwave that sits above the stove and out of the way. Nice having the exhaust built into the bottom of it, and the light above the burners.

Bottom "slants" and shows; unit looks wrong size

My new micro (this model) has a glass turntable that keeps getting off track. Also, you can see the bottom of the microwave when standing in front of the stove. It is slanted and hangs down. My former micro JVM850SM4SS appeared more substantial and didn't slant and was an inch longer so it fit the space better. So there are really two issues: the slanted bottom, the size, and the temperamental glass tray - and irritating when you have to try to fit it back on the 3 "pegs." Sorry to complain; we have always had GE appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
