Excellent AV Reciver.

I have been using this receiver for more than a year now. It replaced Harman Kardon AVR 1710 and I couldn't be happier. The sound is excellent thanks to the improved EZSet/EQ. It even has 4k passthru and upscaling! Awesome looks, excellent sound!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best receiver we ever had!

Previously, we had Sansui (remember them?), Marantz and Onkyo before we owned our first Harmon Kardon AVR. The first one was with the introduction of HDMI and it had some issues with a lag in output when initializing. H-K replaced that one with an upgraded unit free of charge. After that, we moved on to the AVR 2700 and this one has been the best one yet. In the future, if we are to replace this receiver, I'm fairly certain it will be another Harmon Kardon.

Great receiver

I bought this as an upgrade to my last Harman/Kardon receiver. I needed a receiver with lots of hdmi inputs. I've always stuck with this brand because of the simplicity, and sleek look at a great price. The 2700 did not let me down. Another great bonus was the lightness of this receiver. My last one weighed 40lbs and it was a bear to setup every time I moved. This one is much easier to deal with if I have to add new equipment to my setup. This pushes my Magnepans just fine. No complaints about this product.

I bought this unit the day it came out to replace a AV-247. You just can't go wrong with any HK product. If it got any better it would be illegal.

I purchased avr in august first it sound good for the first week and after that it sound not as good as before.

but they lack of power quality and taoe 2 monitor to install external equalizer harman kardon for beginners not stereophiles!

2nd HK receiver

I've had 2 HK receiver one HK 354 that has a bad HDMI board and now my 2700. This unity defaults to TV input all the time sometimes 2 to 3 times when you turn it off. Now when you turn it off you sometimes have to unplug it before you can turn it back on. I would not buy another HK product not very impressed.

Great sound, great features, but...

Excellent product but unable to update software. The software update starts automatically, the device freezes and the update never ends.
Some tricks to restart the device but the update is not done and the same problem is repeated later.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
