Disappointed

I received my first unit and straight out of the box the 2700 was full of problems. Continues buzzing through all channels . The unit was not detecting the speakers, the HDMI was not working through the unit, the menu was not accessible and the wrong mic was sent for the surround sound calibration . Harman Audio is replacing this unit with another. But now I'm skeptical after all the reviews I've found on 2700.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Sound

I have my own Harman. I got this for my son's man cave, I wanted him to have the best.

AVR 2700 - Excellent!!

The quality you expect from Harmon kardon. Very well designed. Plenty of options for connecting your devices. We used this one for our pool house, with zone 2 running the speaker stones around the pool. The pool house has a 5.1 speaker setup that allows you watch a game, while playing FM radio around the pool. One analog input for ChromeAudio, one HDMI for Roku and one for Tivo. The AVR-2700 is simple to set up, with an excellent remote. The EQ speaker setup had the 5.1 setup in minutes. Excellent sound, great product. Thank you.

Set up was very easy

I got it last week and the sound is incredible,set up easily with the microphone pretty much it's self adjusted to the room.
