Granite finish Gas Stove

Disappointing on several levels

We wanted a gas range and two ovens because we do a lot of cooking in general, and baking in particular, so decided to spend more than we originally budgeted to get this model. It has been a disappointment from the start.
First, one burner has not worked EVER, even after a repair person came out to fix it - it still doesn't light up at all.
Second, the top oven light burned out within a week -- we had to call for a replacement part to be mailed to us, which we installed ourselves. That's not a big deal, but for a product at this price, one would expect everything to work for at least a LITTLE while.
Finally, food does not brown in the ovens -- this is the most disappointing thing of all -- fully cooked food is pale on top and just don't look right -- I can't judge doneness by sight and they don't look appetizing. I've read about remedies for this problem -- lowering the temp and baking longer, putting a pizza stone underneath, etc., but none of these ideas has really worked and it's frustrating to have to work around the problem. This is a serious design flaw.
I would not recommend this oven to anyone.

I love my double oven!

I have had my new oven now for over 4 months. I bake a lot for the events we go to on the weekends in the winter and spring. I could so much faster with the double over! I do find when I use both ovens that the top over heats up hotter than the bottom oven so I just keep it 10 degrees below what it is to be cooked at and it works fine. Also, if you use the top oven to bake something that has oil, like fish it may cause the oil to smoke so I have set off the fire alarm a few times! But, all in all I would not trade it in for the world. Almost bought another brand but glad I didn't . This one has a large cooking top. I thought the burner handles may be too large and get in the way but they are perfect!
