After being a customer of iPhone for three years, I made a switch to Infuse/Android .. oh boy, I am thinking I wasted 3 years.
As a Java programmer myself, this is love at first sight. Enjoy the big screen, the clarity, everything. Tight integration with Google's Contact/Mail/Music what more can we ask ??? I am light years ahead now.
I only will like to see if Samsung will extend the battery life.
Cheers.

I like: large . brilliant screen apps availability,, loads of free apps fast seamless download and install time for most apps choice of keyboard input screens and methods voice input for text and email and web search is very accurate Email setup easy and large screen makes emailing easy Camera is good with a variety of pic options including panoramic - very neat,, also has LED flash for low lite Speakers/sound much better than competitors
I dislike : ( this is things that should be fixed): short battery life. large screen uses power fast, when i first had phone and was installing apps, i had to charge phone 2 times/day. WHen using just moderatley for texting and conversation, and minimal web browsing, battery will not last the day When battery goes dead, phone cannot be used on plugin power until battery charges for at least an hour.. It just shuts down. some apps crash( reminiscent of Windows) on voice input I have not been able to text a picture via MMS , The phone converts the jpg to a video and when i send it just indicates "sending", but it never goes... this is a problem . Overall a great phone , but the battery life becomes a real problem, I dont like carrying a charge cord with me every day
Cons: Did not meet expectations, short battery life between charge, cant send photo via mms
I would recommend this to a friend!

Switched from a Windows 7 to an Android- WOW!

I first bought a Windows 7 phone, a Focus, also a Samsung phone. I loved the apps features, but this phone takes a special micro SD card- NOT yet released! After watching my wife customize her Android and cheching out the user Interface, I bought an Infuze. I wasted my time on the windows phone, and a bunch of cash. I loved the available apps, found all of them in the free area, another plus. My son was available for his upgrad, and he didn't hesatate, He brought home an Infuze, loves it. He's 15 and texts about 15000 a month. I love the speech to text feture, the music player that plays through my bluethooth in my vehicles, and the sync features. I'm sure that I will be keeping this phone for quite a while.
I just want to say the phone is great but few days ago i had a problem. Phone simply stopped charging... I read on line this phone has that problem. ATT gave me a new one...
Love the size and the quality of the screen. Mean Machine.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: needs more colors, cost
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased the Infuse to replace my cell phone and PDA with a single device having the functionality of both. It took a little time to set up. I had to subscribe to an online exchange server and purchase Touchdown to seemlessly synchronize the Infuse with Outlook 2007 on my notebook. Now all contacts, appointments, email, tasks and other features of Outlook synchronize flawlessly.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, largest screen on a smartphone, built-in gps, available android apps
Cons: required a subscription for an online exchange ser, required purchase of app to sync with outlook
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love everything about this phone, I've had it about 2 months and still haven't learned everything about it. Speaker is loud and clear, I love being able to listen to music on it. It's probably my fourth or fifth Samsung phone and I've always been pleased. Only "negative" thing about Samsung phones is they have all had a little glitch that causes the phone to spontaneously cut off and right back on or at least the screen to black out then come back on...This has never bothered me much though - again, it's happened with all of the Samsung phones I've had so I'm used to it.
The phone itself is okay with the features that are available out of the box, however, the primary issues would have to lie with the SAMSUNG development team with their lack of diligence with providing customers with the latest software updates.
I would highly recommed a redesign of the current product, or future products for that matter to not feel so cheap. The Infuse 4G honestly feels like a plastic piece of junk, compared to the current competitors.
it is all opinionated as far as wants or hopes for the phone, but could really use some improvment.
If they provided the latest updates, or had the development team work a little more on providing the customer base that they have with the appropriate updates, i believe that not only would their already unhappy customers would have a change of opinion, they would also be able to expand, and grow their customer base to better numbers, the revenue would also increase from the knowledge that the product purchased from SAMSUNG would be reliable as well as current,
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight, great camera pictures
Cons: Did not meet expectations, plastic like feel, software not up-to-date, firmware not up-to-date
