Falls short...!

This the 3rd Samsung phone I have owned. It will be my last. I only bought this because the salesman said it was far better the the competition. Each one I have owned fell short of being a "good" product. This one has a fantastic screen. It is LARGE and is easy to use with my big fingers. However, The call connections, wifi connectivity, and excessive call dropping leaves it lacking...A LOT. I have to power it down just to connect to any wifi source. I use my wifi at home and the phone will not connect..even if it right next to my router! If it's powered down and restarted..BINGO it connects. I should have bought an iPhone. Sorry Samsung...it just doesn't live up to your hype in the REAL world.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, good photos.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor connectivity, drops too many calls
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement phone

I was amiss at first when ATT CS offered me a Samsung in replacement for my lost dell streak, but it turned out to be for the best the 4.5 inch super AMOLED screen was briliant in color and sharpness, the reception was good the overall design was well though out. the only drawback i can even see is i wish i could shut off parts of the touch WIZ as i would prefer the stock dialer with android. great phone good replacement for my streak.

Cons: cant turn off samsung ui

not a good phone for humid climates
had one a week and a half sent it in and they said water damage! never had it near water in case and at home actually had 3 of them in a month in a half all brand new

Very cool Phone

this thing is way cool and I am spending a lot of time trying all the new stuff. I have found that it works better than some of my friends Androids and way better than what I used before.

Too Many Problems

I've had this phone for about 2 months now and it's constantly giving me problems, especially when used as a PHONE! When I'm talking on the phone, the phone dials numbers and hangs up on people all the time because of the sensor that's suppose to lock the phone when it's in use. I'm not sure if mine sensor doesn't work or I just don't hold the phone the way Samsung thinks I should.
In addition to the crazy dialing and hanging up on people, the screen locks up all the time and when I plug the phone in to charge it, it turns itself off. This is my first Samsung phone and I am highly disappointed.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
