The Infuse 4G is a great phone BUT...

I am one of those mobile techies that must have the latest and greatest phone available. Last June, after months and months of research, review reading and actual in-store testing, I decided on the Infuse 4G. Before I go on, let me preface this review by saying that my wife is a i-Phone carrier and everyday implores me to go i-Phone. I hereby acknowldge that the i-Phone is a great phone-BUT not the greatest!
So lets start with the positives; the Infuse 4G is simply incredible. The 4.5-inch SUPA-AMOLED plus screen is the best thing since NASA went to the moon! Playing everything from movies, videos, news clips and watching slideshows of photos is simply breathtaking. The pictures from the 8 mega-pixel rear camera are just stunning. Since the Infuse has a 1.3 mega-pixel front facing camera, I have just downloaded the apps Tango and Viber to be able to "Video Call" with many of my clients and friends. This is a must have for any cell phone user.
The expandable storage capacity is amazing with up to 32 GB. The Infuse has a "razor-thin" body - in fact the thinnest on the market. The operating system is Android Froyo, which is also loaded on the Samsung Galaxy S phone. The touchscreen keyboard is as good if not better than the i-Phone. I know this because my wife (i-phone user as previously mentioned) uses my phone to Google search and play games, rather than her own phone (smile).
Now some of the cons of the Infuse 4G. Its technically not a true 4G phone (not a LTE 4G) but it offers HSPA+ Category 14, which is supposed to move at speeds up to 21Mbps. It also doesn't use monster glass which means you need to invest in a very durable case. This biggest issue for me is that you cannot remove bluetooth devices from the phone listing without doing a hard rest. This is a major flaw that Samsung seems to do with some of their other phones. I hope that they will do a hardware fix and send it out to all Samsung phone users with this issue. I also experience occasional device freezing. It is quite annoying but with patience and removing the battery, it can fix the issue.
Ok, now for the rating; as a previous Verizon user and owner of the Motorola Droid X, I was worried that if I returned to at&t that I would not have a phone as great as the Droid X. I had to have a phone that would keep me from carrying my laptop and preform as good if not better than the Droid X or the i-Phone. I have found that phone and it is the Infuse 4G. I hope that the next generation of Samsung devices can top this one. My rating a 4 out of 5!
Cons: Poor quality, cannot remove bluetooth devices w/o a hard reset, does freeze up from time to time
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this phone in May.Though it might be too big for me, but you really do get used to it. Now I don't know how I ever had a smaller phone. I love it just as much now as I did when I got it. Got to Love Samsung Products!!
Love this phone. The camera is fantastic, the clarity of videos and movies is amazing, and it is easy to use. My only issues are the battery life, it seems to like to power cycle on its own, and it doesn't like to find wi-fi automatically. These are things I can live with, and if it gets too bad, I'm still within warranty. Samsung makes great cell phones and I wouldn't even think of going with a different brand!
I purchased an AT&T Samsung Infuse on August 26, 2011.Since I purchased this device I have had nothing but problems. This phone freeze up, it turns off by itself, the touch screen stops working, most times the apps. from the market want work and the phone vibrates on its on. I also purchased the tethering package with the phone and the longest I have been able to tether is 5 minutes and that was back in September and every since it connects for 30 seconds and then disconnects and a message comes up that says I need a data package, which I have had on the phone since I purchased it. I worked for AT&T for three and a half years and I have had service with AT&T for over 7 years and this is the worst phone they have ever came out with. I know numerous people who also have this same phone and they have these same problems with there phones. I don't wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone...
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, big screen
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, turns off bt itself, freeze up, touch screen stops working, does not tether properly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only Issue I have with the phone is the swype feature. there is no easy way to remove all of the partial words it seems to pick up, plus it constantly switches languages. other than that , this is my E book reader, My MP3 player, my movie player, camera and everything else, I only carry this on business now it does everything I need, and with the HDMI I give presentations right from the pohne AWESOME,
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: swype
I would recommend this to a friend!

so far i really like this phone the picture is great battery last longer than my other smart phone.
Pros- 1) Big & bright screen. 2) Fast 4G. 3) Good battery life. 4) High quality camera (picture/video). Cons- 1) Very Flimsy back cover. 2) Poor quality speaker. 3) Poor (range) built-in WiFi device. 4) Touch screen is too sensitive. 5) Poor sound quality on phone calls. 5) Very disorganized Application Icons (all over) in 3/4 different screens the same thing. 6) File/Folder system is not the most efficient or user friendly either. 7) Music syncing is also not very user friendly or organized like iTunes. Lastly, A 2012 device still running operating system from 2009 whereas, iPhone 3GS (also from 2009) running the same OS5 as iPhone 4S, this phone should have had Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) upgrade option.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, flimsy back cover, 3 years old operating system, poor speaker, touch screen too sensitive, not very user friendly on files & music
I would recommend this to a friend!
