I've had my Samsung InFuse for about a year now and it's the first smart phone I've owned. I see hunderds of people with all of their S-Phones in all of my travels and I'll tell you one thing - there's not a better phone or phone maker out there than Samsung. There's nothing this phone can't do that the iPhone does, i.e.; iTunes, just use the Google Music Player and load your iTunes right to the Samsung. Fabulious clarity, great screen, fast, an absolute pleasure to use.
What an outstanding phone. Went with the recommendation of a friend for the purchase, and am not sorry. The phone is very user-friendly and capable. Only downside is the lack of Gingerbread operating system. The Froyo is not bad, but aforementioned friend updated to Gingerbread through another means and it is seriously impressive. Fast and battery friendly.
I have had this phone for a little over a year now, and have been having issues with it for the majority of that time period. I can't have a case on it, because if I do, it overheats. The phone locks up all the time. My husband has the exact same phone and has these same exact problems that I have with it. Now, the phone will not charge at all. Now I have to spend more money than I paid for the phone, just to get a refurbished one. Not impressed at all!
I found some obvious issues with the phone which needs quick response from technical Staff. 1. Default email client. I did not find any way to forward email with rich media in it. If email contains Images and text(HTML) then this html email is converted into text email while forwarded. 2. There is no easy management of application. Every time you have to go to Setting Panel> Manager and kill the apps, servies. Where you don't know which one are system services and which are app and what will be the outcome of killing those apps. 3. Battery is terrible. Considering the size of this giant screen, not sure if samsung has ever think about how it is going to drain the battery. 85-90% of batter is consumed by Display Screen. 4. Don't like the gigantic keypad. When I am typing a email there is hardly space to see content box, all space is consumed by keypad itself.
Other then above mentioned issues it is a very decent phone if you are no a heavy app user and you are ok with gmail or yahoo mail and don't want to use there email client, it might work for you.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, pathetic battery life, poor email client
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone is by far better than the Iphone series. It's lightweight larger design is easy to handle and simple to work with, I'm a guy with big hands and fingers and it is the perfect size to maneuver the touchscreen with and get to what i need without struggle. This phone has a really fast processor and has an excellent sound system. Very great phone overall. Only con i can find is the folder organizing, but that's not too bad.
