Overall, after having the Samsung Infuse, over 30 days I would say I am basically enjoying my new android. I went from the iPhone 3GS to the Infuse. Comparing the two is like comparing "apples" to oranges. One may be better in some areas, the other in other areas. Both OS offer different things. One better than the other? No, just different. The iPhone's learning curve is very easy, whereas, the android's takes a little more getting used to.
So...with that said, let's get on with the Good and Bad.
The main problem with the Infuse, if I had to choose one, is that the Infuse seemingly seems to run low on RAM after mega heavy usage (I think) and then there is no incoming ring tone. The other thing is the Volume Rocker and Power switch are in an awkward location which have caused me to press them when I did not intend to do so. Have missed several calls due to the volume being turned down too low and my not knowing it. Finally...what is up with Canada getting Gingerbread on the Infuse while us Americans have Froyo??? Come on....IF you want to keep us, Samsung/ATT, you might want to RUSH that update to us!
Okay...now that I have my "Cons" out of the way...let's talk "Pros". The massive screen is wonderful. There have been many people saying the phone is too big. No way!. It is not much bigger than the iPhone and weighs noticeably less. The Super Amoled Plus display is bright even when set on the lowest setting. When outdoors, you can see your icons and actually use your phone (unlike the iPhone). Downloading apps is a breeze! Very fast! Netflix, at this time, is not an option....let's hope it comes soon. Could it be ATT does not want us to have Netflix as an option since they preload MediaHub???? Hummm....
The 8.0 MP rear camera takes awesome pics with pretty much true tones. Videos come out great too! Battery usage could be better (as with most smartphones). It appears in order to have the brilliant screen, the price you pay is battery power. Still, I get a full day of moderate-to-heavy usage before needing a recharge. If you text a lot, this one is for you...the SWYPE keyboard is beyond pleasant :). If you are a social app junky..Social Update allow you to see your Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter friends status updates all in one place AND you can update your status easily too without having to open each app individually..another plus! Do I need to say more???
I've had the Infuse for almost 30 days now and not sure if I want to keep it. I've been a Palm Treo user that switched to the iPhone a few years back which I love. Contemplated long and hard about waiting for the next iPhone release but decided to give this a shot. I love this phone about 85% of the time!!! The other 15% I really get frustrated and hate it!!! Great camera, Love the big screen, Easy to use! I'm a heavy app user and I have to charge the battery about every 6hrs. I'm totally new to Android and really love the options of customizing that it offers but it does not appear to very stable on this device. Lags and freezes up a lot when multi-tasking. I'm hoping for future software updates to work out the Android kinks and an option for an extended(Larger) battery! I think it's definitely better than the iPhone but nowhere near as stable and not as good battery life.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, awesome camera, large size
Cons: battery life, os unstable
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the phone due to the high qulity picture the screen presents. It has alot of features that I use on a daily basis. I have had a few issues with the phone locking up on me or just rebooting out of the blue, but other then that the phone is pretty good.
Cons: videos is to large to share in (regular mode), videos is to choppy to share in (mms mode)
I would recommend this to a friend!

When will Samsung fix the software. This phone crashes allot, and becomes slow and un-responsive allot.
If you try to run the Navigation program it will crash and lock-up for sure. One example.
Sometimes it takes 30 seconds or more for the phone to release the phone. Second example.
Just general slowness and un-responsivness. Third example.
After last update the camera is not has good quality images. Fourth Example.
Please fix this Samsung.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i chose this phone for the astounding screen size, and most importantly the front facing camera, but was disappointed that it doesnt work with the popular videochat apps, like yahoo , skype, msn and oovoo. any help as to how it can be operational? also the speakers could sound better like my iphone.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: front facing camera compatibility, better sound
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Samsung infuse 4g has everything you wish a phone could have. The screen has your mouth dropping and its speed makes you feel you can barely keep up. My only, and I mean only, complaint is the call quality and size. The call quality is not that great, I have had to repeat myself a few times in order for people to understand what I'm saying. Although, I had gone back to the store to see why this was happening only to be told Samsung is having a software problem with the phone. I am not the only one with this problem. I shall wait until samsung gets an update to fix this problem. After that, the phone will be flawless. The lightness of the phone makes up for its size.
I have been a Blackberry fan for few years and want to try Android during upgrade. I got the Motorola Atrix for one week but always run out of battery in or before evening and difficult for me to type accurately on screen. Exchange Atrix to Infuse. Love it so much.... screen, speed, light weigh, easy to type, .....and battery can last whole day. Highly recommend this phone to everyone. Co-workers using iphone 4 are jealous.
