This is a great phone. I was deciding between this and iPhone 4, and am glad i went with the Infuse. It's zippy, has an AMAZING screen, takes gorgeous pictures & sounds great on calls in my area. I'd have given a 5 star review, but the lack of Android 2.3 is a huge mistake! Why this OS didn't ship on the device I'll never know, as it would take much better advantage of the processing power this device has to offer.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, 8 mp camera on rear, gorgeous screen
Cons: no gingerbread (android 2.3)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stopped working
on November 6, 2012

I was using my phone today and it was working fine. Then all of a sudden it started flashing the samsung logo screen and then a black screen over and over again. It wouldn't let me get past the samsung screen and when I tried charging it the charge screen popped up and then turned to another black screen just like before. I don't know what to do with my phone. I've tried taking it apart and putting it back together again but have gotten the same results. I don't know what to do. Please help.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, doesn't turn on
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Having owned may smartphones, I always had a complaint about the screen real estate. So when this phone was announced I was hoping that it would be great. After leaving the apple phone, I had high standards for what I wanted in this phone. This phone really sets the standards. Its light, fast and most of all incredible resolution. I highly recommend anyone leaving the world of apple and considering a droid, look no further than the Infuse 4G
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

I smacked Samsung around pretty hard when I owned a Captivate. It was an absolute disaster that left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding Samsung phones. However, I decided to give the Infuse a shot. Man, am I glad I did. I have had none of the issues that plagued the Captivate (Poor to unusable GPS, random lags and freezes).
The screen rocks. The speakerphone rocks. The GPS locks in seconds and stays locked. It's performance is crisp and the reception thus far has been at least as good as my previous HTC product. Nice job, Samsung. You finally put a complete product together and it's excellent.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: seems a bit lightweight. wonder about durability.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best phone for AT&T

I was an avid iPhone user, and recently decided to try out the Android phones. First, I started out with the Motorola Atrix, only to find out the UI (MotoBlur) was just shy of terrible. Next, I moved on to the HTC Inspire, and it was an all-around good phone. The battery life was poor at best. The phone was not quite as "snappy" as the Atrix, but the UI was much better. The screen was great, I thought.
After very little consideration, I purchased the Samsung Infuse, and I am glad I did. At first, I was afraid the screen size would be to big, but I was wrong. The phone fits perfectly in my hand. The screen is truly gorgeous, and reminds me of the Samsung LED 3D TV (which I hope to own one day). The Infuse is snappy, and I have not had the need for a task killer. The battery life is better than any other Android phone, and as good as the iPhone. I am a heavy phone user, the battery last me all day. Also, the speaker is better than all other phones (including the iPhone), and even my iPad (I want the Galaxy Tab). I would not hesitate to buy this great product.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color

IPhone 4 Convert

After having every model of iPhone since 2007, I finally had it with no Flash support and problems with BlueTooth (and the tiny text Apple uses drove me crazy).
So I decided to try the Samsung Infuse on Android 2.2. Looking back, my most favorite 90's flip phones were Samsung and were very reliable.
I like the Infuse because its light, has a huge screen (men with big hands like me will love it) and honestly I wanted something different.
The Droid OS takes some getting used to, but my fav apps from the iPhone are available here too so that wasnt a big deal.
I am very impressed with the device, it feels light, well made, and works great so far. One issue is adjusting the volume from the headphone control button wont work, maybe this is an Apple centric feature??
My only concern is with updates to 2.3 and beyond from Google. I dont know how reliable their software really is. Guess I am going to find out!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, thin
Cons: headphone volume doesnt work

Only thing I don't like about this phone is the earpiece speaker gives a little feedback when turned full volume.

By far this phone has the best screen I have ever seen. The clear, crisp, almost all angle viewing is in short outstanding. The phone is smooth with the 1.2 processor in it. The speaker is very clear. The weight of the phone is great for it's size. I hope that Samsung brings Gingerbread soon and even updates to keep this phone at the top.
My only issue is the HDMI out. You have to have a charger with it. I know it is great to charge it while doing it, but it is clumbersome to carry around.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: hdmi out
