Loving my Samsung Infuse, as soon as I saw this phone advertised on television I knew this was the one phone I have been waiting for. I purchased mine because I love the huge screen and the thiness of the phone. I also love andriod products but most of all I love Samsung products.
I have had my infuse for about a year now and I've had to replace it. My first one i had to replace because the charging port broke up until the port breaking i loved the phone. My second one i have had nothing but trouble with it. It was incredibly slow when i first got it and now it constantly is turning itself off and flashing the Samsung screen until i take the battery out and that doesn't always fix it. The battery life is horrible now about half way through the day i have to turn it off until i get home to charge it. In all i wouldn't get this phone again it is not worth anything you would think it is..
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, slow, freezes, crashes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super phone. Had it over 2 years now, looking to upgrade to another Samsung phone within the next couple of months.BTW my wife is getting this phone, great phone.
I've had this phone for about a year. It is so unreliable I've come close to throwing it out the window several times. The screen loads are clunky and slow. Nothing works like its supposed to. It constantly overheats and reboots, and freezes at least twice a day. I hate it and I would smash it with a sledge hammer if I didn't have to pay for a new phone. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!!! (it does take nice pictures, but what's the point when nothing else works properly?)
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Because the Galaxy S II wasn't available...

I bought the Infuse 4G because the Galaxy S II hasn't been released where I live and I'm too impatient. I'm coming from the Captivate (after a brief affair with the HTC Inspire 4G) and Samsung has fixed all of the issues I had with the Captivate. I wanted a front-facing camera (check), a faster processor (check), a larger screen (check), a revised and improved TouchWhiz (check), and some minor cosmetic changes (check). Even though the screen is only a half inch bigger than the Captivate's, it seems like there is much more usable viewing area. It is a large phone, but not too large, and it feels good when holding it. The overall design is attractive. The front camera takes good quality photos, while the rear 8mp camera takes very nice photos that don't lose any sharpness or resolution when uploaded to social networking sites like Facebook. I only scored an 1124 on Quadrant and an average of 17 on Linpack, but the phone feels much faster than that. A frequent and common complaint concerns battery life. I've only had the Infuse for a couple days, and I have to charge it every night, but I use the phone a lot, downloading music, noodling around on Facebook, etc, so the relatively short battery life is not a negative as far as I'm concerned. It is a large battery at 1750mAh and if you use the phone primarily for phone calls and texting, it should last for a couple of days.
Overall, the Samsung Infuse 4G is an excellent phone. Sure, you can nitpick and find some negatives, but I am very happy with it. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone, especially to those who are currently using phones with pieces of fruit on them.
