Great phone, would have loved to get the Galaxy SII instead, but at the time that phone was not available in the U.S.
Camera works great, incredible definition. Battery life can be a bit problematic, and requires you to manage the GPS and Wifi to make it last the full day.
This is my first smartphone and I love it! I researched several phones and talked to other people before buying this one. Great features and easy to use. It's just like a small computer. I bought a smartphone for the mapping/navigation features and accessing the Internet and email. The only other phone I considered was a Samsung Galaxy SII but this was cheaper with a plan.
This is my first smart phone and wow, I didn't understand why everyone wanted or needed one until now. The Samsung Infuse is easy to use and with the large screen easy to read. This phone is a capable and welcome addition to a person on the go or a student who wants and needs everything in one place. The Infuse has a large storage capacity for files, music and videos or anything else you might need or want to take with you.
A very nice phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, large display-easy to read
I would recommend this to a friend!

Music Tags (Genre, Artist) show up incorrectly

The Artist and Genre information shows up correctly on my PC; however, on my Infuse, the genre tags are incorrect on many of the songs and show up with the artist info rather than what is shown in the tags. I cannot figure out how to fix this, as editing the tags did not fix this problem. Therefore, I CANNOT sort by genre or artist effectively. Considering this is touted as one of the best media devices on the market this is a problem that SHOULD NOT occur. The device has been out long enough that a fix for this should have already been issued.
Lack of screenshot capability. This is a huge drawback to this phone. If I want to take screenshots I'd have to root or go old school and get a separate camera to take a photograph of the screen. Again, this is something that devices on the market today should have standard.
Bluetooth functionality is not quite perfect. Listening to music over bluetooth works well, until you forget to put your phone on silent then notifications interrupt the song. There should be some workaround for this by now.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great phone if you are looking for smooth navigation. Very manageable and quick. Super quick. My first 4G phone, and I see a tremendeous difference already. One you set up your apps, every thing else is a walk in the park. I will definitely recommend this phone to My mom and aunts - who never can figure out how to work their phones. They can handle this phone. Lol.
