A Worthy Alternative to the iPhone

My iPhone is great. It does most everything I wanted. The Infuse does enough other things better that I've switched between them! App Choices seem at least as diverse, and are easier to add. The Android platform is video-download friendly; something that can't be said about the iPhone.
Are there gripes? A few. Signal strength both phone and wifi seems stronger with the iPhone. Music is better on the iPhone - something that stereo speakers built in would cure. I'm not sure if it's my imagination, but the battery life isn't as good. I have to plug it in at work, and it takes longer to charge
All in all, the Infuse is definitely a worthy alternative - screen is larger (and the typing keys, too). Resolution seems better; with 35% larger screen, it should be. Fix the sound and the battery life and I won't be torn anymore.
Cons: music sound quality, battery charge life &recharge time
I would recommend this to a friend!

good screen. ok processor. Think the Samsung/AT&T build of android is kind of unstable. installed third party rom and phone has worked perfect, can't say that for the stock rom.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Like the Captivate with a larger LED screen. and Nice Ballastic protective casing to ensure no harm to accidental drops make this a great device. Netflix, Youtube seem like you are watching a mini TV in the palm of your hand. Again love the Google integration. Good phone all around.
ive always loved my iphone and was so ready to get the 4g then the saleslady told us bout this phone im so glad she did cause I love this phone!! Its great and its does so much more than the iphone did...I even love watching movies and stuff on it!!!
I transitioned from an iPhone 3G to the Infuse 4G. I really love the size and picture clarity of this phone. The Android OS was a learning curve: I had to rethink how to handle backup, sync and 3rd party apps that would flow nicely. Some may see this a a pro because of the flexibility but some may be a bit apprehensive with multiple app registrations as opposed to everything going through one source.
The primary reason I didn't choose 5 stars has been the device's WiFi performance. When I'm away from my home network, I turn WiFi off but it automatically turns on in the presence of secured networks I've never connected to. I find myself constantly turning off WiFi throughout the day. Once I return home, I expect the WiFi to "wake up" the same but, in defiance, it doesn't auto connect consistently.
Secondly, the proximity sensor doesn't seem to respond in comparison to my old iPhone 3G. I've developed a habit of answering calls and locking my screen to make sure I'm not randomly opening apps or "cheek texting" someone. I plan to followup and contact Samsung or check forums about this.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, large screen and font
Cons: wifi, proximity sensor
I would recommend this to a friend!

I LOVE THIS PHONE!!! The colorful display is beautiful. I am very happy with it.
After reading reviews on different smart phones, I had decided to leave the world of Iphone and get an android. And I have to say best decision of have made on a phone purchase ever.
