Windows has created a really good phone easy to use. It basically adopts one's personality, one won't miss anything with the constantly updating home screen, the marketplace contains plenty of apps for everyone. I'm glad I chose this platform over the others.

I have been an avid iPhone user but the screen was too small so I decided to try the Nokia Lumia, I was afraid I was going to be disappointed and just hold out until the new iPhone came out in the fall. I can tell you, I won't be going back. This is the most awesome phone, it is so easy to use, the screen is awesome and readable without my glasses and even though all the apps that I want aren't there I am sure they will be coming soon. I have never been more happy with a cell phone as I am with this one. I highly recommend this phone to anyone who thinks the iPhone is the best, try this and you won't go back, as a matter of fact I have to fight my kids to get my phone back because they like this better than theirs.

Windows Phone just got even better.

I switched to a Windows Phone (Samsung Focus) from an iPhone last year, and I never regretted it. Particularly after the WP7 Mango update, the OS is slick, fast and intuitive and simply visually stunning. By comparison, iPhone OS is looking clunky and dated.
But the Lumia takes the Windows Phone to an entirely new level. From an aesthetic standpoint, it is the first phone whose design is equal to the sheer visual beauty of the OS. It grabbed a page from the iPhone minimalism and took it one higher, with smooth uninterrupted lines. And the Cyan color is a nice "pop" - great change from the regular black and white. I hate to even put a cover on this phone The added Nokia travel apps - Drive, Transit and Nokia Maps give me more bang for the buck than the Windows standard Maps, and the forward-facing Camera will let me get maximum use out of the new Skype app.
The only minor complaints I have are the weight (it's balanced, but noticeably heavier than my previous phones), and the camera quality. But this will always be limited by optical distance, so this is a MINOR quibble.
I didn't think I could love my Windows Phone more - I was, thankfully, wrong!!

I just upgraded from an iPhone 4 to the Lumia 900, and I am very happy. The display, while not quite as sharp as the iPhone 4, is gorgeous. I was able to find replacements for almost all my iPhone apps (though some are 3rd party). WP 7.5 Mango is very easy to use, but still very powerful, especially for social media. Its also the best looking OS by far in the smartphone space. My only gripes? The notifications and multitasking could be more fleshed out, and the camera is just ok, not awesome.

I found that this hardware with the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system are a fantastic match. The concept of live tiles is something which I have not seen on the iPhone for example. I can see how many emails are unchecked, the weather for the next three days or how many unchecked text messages all from live tiles. More things which can be seen from live tiles are - my next appointment from my calendar, how many unread articles from my feed reading application, the stock exchange info, etc.
Syncing contacts from Hotmail was a breeze. I was also able to sync contacts from Facebook and Gmail. No more importing contacts from an old phone.
The integration with Facebook is fantastic for sharing photos with friends and family. I have not seen that on the iPhone or the Android phones.
Nokia has some special applications for their suite on the Windows Phone. Their maps and photo software are pretty slick for starters.
The phone is very responsive to the touch and the downloads across the network are very fast when compared to my old 3G phone. The front facing camera was neat and the camera on the back takes nice photos. 8 megapixels is sweet.
On-board storage is about 16 gb and I loaded all of my music on the phone. The speaker on this phone is great and I get a lot of battery life even when playing music.
A couple of cool things - I can talk into my text messages instead of type them. The keyboard is fairly large, which makes it better to type.
The ability to edit Word documents on the cloud with software integrated into the operating system is useful. You even get Outlook which can connect to my work email server.
I love the ability to take a photo and then have the phone load the image onto my SkyDrive space where I can view from my other computers.
Being able to pin custom areas to my start screen is cool. Instead of just a shortcut to an application I can create a shortcut to a specific area/feature/menu of an application. Example: I have a TuneIn Radio application where I can pin a specific radio station to the start screen. This makes the phone experience much more enjoyable and is a lot more efficient.
All things said - a great phone and worth every penny for me.
