I like this mobile phone very much because some time it fall on the floor from the height of 5-6 feet and after everything is fully in good and earlier form even there is no crash on screen glass also but if iPhone fall from this height i'm sure that's glass'll be break. Awesome mobile ever so slim smart and amazing look icons. this phone like a tasty chocolate in hand. I love this phone.

I hate this phone. We purchased 5 of them at the same time and each of them have had to be replaced

My husband and I bought one and one for each kid (total of 5). We have all had the same problems. I'm sorry but this phone is just useless. It is constantly messing up and freezing. I update it and two days later it does the same thing. All three children have had to have theirs replaced and we are about to have to do the same. Even after latest update my husbands will not turn on all the way, it keeps going off and on.

Get It Insured

If you must have a Lumia windows phone of any sort make sure you get insurance on it....you will have to replace it every other month because it will malfunction in some kind of way. The applications and the features are awesome but the phone itself is a huge pain. Something always goes bad on it. I have had to replace 4 phones for defects since July of this year.

I bought this phone the very first week Nokia launched it and soon they find a bug which they solved it by releasing an update and compensating customers. After few weeks they released another update which had a horrible bug of setting default location as Akron, Ohio even if you are in Europe, Australia or Canada. About the features - UI is pretty slick but somethings like No search bar in Music(Audio) No easy way for volume control and worst of all - no option to download/install apps from Zune. Its okay for a change but won't beat Samsung S2 or newly release S III and definitely not iPhone. Some of its good features - big (huge) screen, excellent camera quality, live tiles, good for socializing (as it keeps everything sync and all together) Windows marketplace have limited apps and mostly 3rd party which might raise privacy issues. If you are windows fan and hate iPhone and/or Android (just like me) than go for it - definitely a good deal. Otherwise go for iPhone (the best)

Frequent technical problems
on July 11, 2012

Am not sure if only am experiencing this... I had been told by my retailer as well as service provider that they didn't hear complaints like this.
Touch screen of the mobile stops responding. It means I cannot answer the calls as I have to swipe it up. I cant even turn it off as that requires slide down. With these issues shown to retailer, I am currently using my 3rd Nokia Lumia phone in last 2 months.
Latest issue last saturday was the battery of new mobile (20 days old) got completely drained out and charging it also doesnt help as battery is out of service.
Again I hurried to device support and got a new mobile.
Shockingly in a new issue, I called someone and the display of the mobile turned off. It took 15minutes to come back to normal and I had to leave him a longest voicemail possible as I cant disconnect.
I loved the look and feel, features of the phone, but technically its harassing me big time. I wonder whats my situation after I am out of warrant period???
Please respond if some one else faced similar issues.

The Beta Test Continues

Always go with your instinct and NEVER buy first gen ANYTHING - EVER. The phone i have has multiple bugs that make it really annoying to use. Sadly between traveling and work, i did not have time to return it within the 30 day time period, so i'm stuck with it. Key issues include the following. (1) The phone randomly decides to turn on the voice activation feature! Of course it thinks i'm asking for the most inappropriate things. While this can be hilarious around friends, it's not considered too professional at work...which basically means i can't use this phone at work. And try as i might, there's no way to turn this feature off! (2) The screens freeze too often and don't let you navigate back and forth. i have to turn my phone off and back on for it to switch between apps. (3) There aren't enough good, free apps for windows phones. That's a HUGE benefit of going with an iphone and even an android that isn't advertised, but it makes a big difference in everyday use. A lot of the apps available can't multi-task or don't turn off when you try to thus slowing down your phone. I have tried un-installing apps to see if this was causing the previous screen freezes, but it didn't seem to help. Doing a factory reset helped for a few days and then it was back to square one. If it is an app issue, shouldn't there be app control or warnings on bad apps? All in all...save yourself frustration and go with a different phone. If you don't want an iphone, try a droid...anything is better than this windows phone.

I found this phone so easy to use right out of the box. Great apps as with other Nokia products I tell everyone that Nokia has ben the leader in smart phone technology long before Apple and Android were.
Pros: Personal, Business, wifi when needed, navigation
I would recommend this to a friend!
