It is time

I used to have a wireless laptop. Now, My family has 3 laptops two wireless game systems Ipods and a wifi TV that is always on Netflix. My Linksys handles all of effortlessly. If you are going to upgrade go all the way and get the E4200 you won't regret it.

E4200 Router - great

This router has worked great so far, no problems at for 1 month.
Much more powerful than 1 yr old Netgear router that started dropping out.
Worked great on initial setup, left most things at default.
Can now get a strong signal at the other end of the house, approx 75' through 6 walls and on 2nd floor.

Good Router

Throw the set-up software away and set up the router manually!
I spent an hour trying to use the software, but could never access the router.
After setting up the router manually it works great. I replaced a WRT400n router that would not maintain a connection with the DSL line. The E4200 has not dropped the connection once!

Simple installation

Router was extremely easy to deploy and setup. All devices connected as expected. Was suprised that signal distance was not greater than prior D-Link router nor was connection speed improved.
Still, product works well on install which sometimes can be a challenge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We can't make it work

I HAVE HAD PROFESSIONAL WORKING ON THIS FOR ABOUT 8 HOURS. hE MOVEDALL MY FILES AND DATA FROM MY OLD MACHINE TO THE NEW ONE. wE ATTEMPTED TO INSTALL THIS cISCO DEVICE IN LIEU OF A LESS POWERFUL ONE. hE FINALLY GAVE UP AND SAID TO GET SOMEONE EKSE, iT AIN' A "3 EASY STEPS" JOB.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
