We had a Kenmore and it was so noisy it drove us nuts. We put up with it for five years and it finally quit. The kitchenaid is a far superior product.
Pros: Design, Convenient Features, great machine. i like everything abou it., Innovative, Performance, easy to use
Cons: don't of any.

Things I love: how quiet the machine is, that it cleans pretty much everything, from fine china to the dirties pots & pans. I love the way that the inside is layed out, it lets me put lot so dishes in.
Not so cool: how sensitive the buttons are. I've learned to use the key lock ALL the time. As soon as it's started, I lock the buttons, I only unlock to start it. Problem with this, is pretty much everyone else is stumped on how to start it.
the wash cycle seems long, but I don't mind, as I can barely hear it, even when standing in the kitchen talking to someone.
Pros: Performance, easy to use
Cons: Button Sensitivity

Same complaints as many of the other reviewers. This dishwasher is less than 4 years old and I have had nothing but trouble with it! Less than a year in the top rack rollers basically disintegrated and needed to be replaced. The control panel needed to be replaced before it was 3 yrs old and now it needs to be replaced again (it has been just under a year since it was last replaced).My last dishwasher was a Kitchen aid that was over 15 years old, the quality of the product has greatly decreased. I Will NEVER buy a kitchen aid dishwasher again!

We are pleased with the purchase of out Kitchen Aid dishwasher. The only shortcoming is the sensitivity of the flat screen buttons - when leaning against the over the unit against the counter top the Cancel/Drain button has a tendancy to activate,
