We bought this a month ago and are very pleased with the purchase. It fits perfectly in the space available and keeps the contents nicely chilled/frozen as we desire.
Installation and setup steps were simple and easy to follow. Operating instructions were a breeze.

Suits our needs and runs pretty well

We purchased this freezer as we needed more space and a freezer that could get in the -15 Fahrenheit range. It took some fine tuning over a week, but I achieved the desired temperature (I wish the dial was a little more accurate). The temperature is much lower at the bottom of the freezer which is expected.

There is a 7" x 7" opening in the rear of the cabinet where the power cord comes through. GE informed me there is no cover plate available for this opening even though it is drilled in the four corners for a cover plate. This opening will give access to children pets and others to the working parts and wiring of this appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works in the Garage!!

One of the few small freezers that will work in a garage. Every other freezer I looked at would not work in temps below 50 degrees. This one will work in temps ranging from 0 to 110.
