Great freezer

Works great and it's quiet. One small design flaw. There is a large open compartment in the back. I had to tape it closed so my cat wouldn't try to mess with anything inside.

Great Little Freezer

So far it is a great little freezer for our small 2 bedroom apartment! If this "Little Freezer" last as long as my Washer and Dryer I am in good shape! The GE Washer has been around since 2004 and still going strong.

just what we needed

We have this freezer in the garage and have had no problems with it. Our garage probably does not get below freezing (32F). We just wanted something to store venison after deer season, the overflow from the side-by-side and bulk purchases of meat. Had to move the dial slightly toward max temp from center to get the freezer temp below zero, but the temp remains steady which I think is important for food storage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My 22 cu ft refrigerator freezer was too small for our needs and the addition 5 cu ft GE chest freezed was the perfect answer for more freezer space.
