Had it for 5 months, it frost up more than my old one, evidently it doesn't seal good. Other than that, how do you rate one if it still works after only a few months???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just the right size!

We wanted an extra freezer that would allow us to buy more frozen foods and have room to store them. This freezer fits perfectly into our utility room and is easily accessible with the chest type opening from the top. It has worked great for the two months that we have had it.

adequate freezer?

I had to buy a freezer on the spur of the moment and it was the only one I could find of this size. It lacks desirable features of other similar size freezers such as a hinge design which permits the freezer to be placed against the wall, a light to indicate not only if it has power but if the unit is functioning properly. I have kept the freezer completely full and the temperature adjusted to 0 degrees checked by a thermometer placed in freezer since the temperature adjustment has no degree markings. I very seldom open the freezer and it is kept in a cool environment but it seems to cycle on and off more than would be expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
