No Light in Freezer

When I purchased this product, I was not informed that there was not a light in the freezer. The freezer part of a refrigerator normally has a light. If it did not have a light, there should be a big "NOTE" - Freezer is not lighted OR a warning given to the seller to inform the buyer. If the light is not on in the kitchen, we cannot see the food in the freezer. I would not expect a GE product to lack the basic essenetials in a feezer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what we expected

we've had a few troubles with this fridge already. the icemaker leaks leaving a sheet of ice along the bottom of the freezer.
