We have over 100 of these deployed across our network. They are very easy to configure, deploy, and maintain.

Great, affordable switch

This POE switch works great. There is a bit of a learning curve coming from Cisco equipment and I don't like the VLAN settings at all, but it works great and really saved me when another switch on my network died.

Great Switches

We were needing to upgrade over 70 switches for our college campus and our budget was really small. After researching the net gear switches they looked like just what we needed and in our price range. We have had them installed and in our live environment for over a year with 0 issues. Great hardware would definitely purchase again.

Works, but some oddities...

The router looks good and isn't too noisy, but some of the software has peculiarities. The button the the front that's supposed to toggle between POE mode and TX mode for the lights doesn't work intuitively (or at all, I think). The POE config page loads endlessly. Despite those quirks, everything appears to be working. POE is powering devices, VLANs work, etc. Overall the interface just seems a little dated and the POE components a little buggy.

New Switch

I work as an IT manager at a charter school and we're adding a new wing to our school which we requires additional drops, CAT6 cables ran, port configurations to provide internet to the new building. However our network is primarily comprised of Aruba switch and APs and the school contractor allowed the low voltage team to decide on gear and specs. Needless to say our Aruba and Netgear switches didn't get along initially but after going through the configuration steps it wasn't that bad of a integration.
