excellent lens for the price, but you get what you pay for.

basically, its a great lens, but the base plate on mine wore out after a year from the locking pin on the camera body, and once it wore out the auto focus would not work, and just read an error on the lcd screen.
you can turn auto focus on or off with a switch on the lens.
it has a OIS feature also which i didn't find all that helpful.

over all this is a great all around lens, but is a bit bulky for what it does. I got a wide lens attachment for it for fairly cheap that makes it somewhat useful.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: mediocre quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best NX lens overall

This lens is great for getting relatively close shot with very little noise and the auto focus feature helps get what you are trying to get in the shot. The zoom is great for "punching" in on the action and getting the perfect burst shots at a distance. I cant wait till i can invest in some other lenses.
