Summary: This is a fantastic option over the 30mm pancake lens. Excellent viewing angle, compact, and relatively well priced.
Features: i-Fn: I never used the i-Fn button, though I'm sure others have. You may find it useful for having a quick method to meter indoors.
Lens Hood: There is no lens hood, albeit you probably shouldn't expect one with this wide of a viewing angle.
Autofocus: Slow. No AF switch. This was my only pain point with the lens when trying to meter/focus at a significant distance.
Construction: Very snug fit in the NX300's lens mount. I, at first, believed I might be damaging the lens trying to mount it, but became more attuned to it the more I switched lenses.
Conclusion: This lens is a great all-purpose lens for indoor shooting and outdoor shooting. It is particularly well suited for making panoramas or taking landscape photos.
