Nice photos, but big drawbacks

This camera has some nice features, but has some huge drawbacks. The biggest problem I had was taking outdoor photos. Since there is no eyepiece viewfinder, you have to use the screen to compose your photos. In bright sunlight, this is IMPOSSIBLE. The most you can do is GUESS!!! I was in the beautiful Rocky Mountains and I missed out on some gorgeous shots simply because I had no earthly idea what my composition was. I guess a LOT & missed. I just checked the website here to see if some sort of hood was available and NOPE. I guess I'll try to offload this on eBay and buy a DSLR.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have quite a few cameras. I love new features and tend to not be able to pass them up. This camera far surpasses any other for quality of pictures and ease of use. I would recommend this camera to every parent and grandparent out there. I also can't wait to take it on vacation this year.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, easy to use

Very happy with this camera. Takes excellent photos in all lighting conditions. Easy to understand menus and settings make this camera suitable for all, old and young.
