Gas is the only way to go. This cooks so nice and evenly. I love the warmer in the middle of the top.

Has been in use for about 3 months. I'm sorry that I didn't research my choice better. It is awkward to have the Power Boil burner on the right front. Being right handed and my work counter on the right makes using my stove somewhat difficult. Really wish this burner was on the left front. I also have difficulty centering my pots/pans over the flame. I wish the grids were squared over the burners to help orient placement of the pan.
