Easy to use and keep clean. I found that the center burner makes a put-put-put sound. I called for service and the technician told my it is that way because I had it converted to "propane" and that there is nothing that cure it. The grates and the grill are nice and heavy, but after 2 months of use, some of the black finish is showing wear along the edges (and I am extremely careful when handling).

Gas range reasonable but oven poor performance

i bought this 3 months ago to convert from electric and while I like the gas range a lot, the oven bakes unevenly -- even in convection mode. It doesn't take too terribly long to preheat but could be better. Knobs are cheap plastic on the inside where it counts and we broke one right away. Makes sense they would discontinue this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've had out new GE range for six months and are so pleased with its performance. I cook a lot and appreciate the power "turbo" burner for its higher heat; the one behind it is a simmer burner, equally convenient for the opposite reasons. By far the favorite it the middle mall griddle (which can be replaced with a burner); we use it often with great success with pancakes or pork chops. The slate grey exterior is the envy of my stainless steel appliance friends, who are spending a lot of time removing fingerprints. Not me. Wish the handles weren't stainless steel, though easy to clean, it must be done often to keep up appearance. To sum up in two words: LOVE IT!
