One flaw and fixed within a week

Stove Light did not work. Repair guy found a damaged split wire. GE should have checked quality before it went out the door. Other than that a really nice stove.

Stove top controls

It was already installed in the house when we bought it was one of the reason why we bought the house was the gas stove. Sometimes it takes more than 2 times to ignite it. I wish the stove top burner controls are also on top were the oven controls are to be safer for household with children.

I love all the different size burners and the look of the stainless! My only complaint is the steam clean function didn't work very well the one time I have used it. Maybe it will be better next time.

Happy I Selected This Stove

This is our 2nd new stove in about 3 years, because we had re-done our kitchen and then a year later moved to another state. The GE Profile Range was a great choice -- much better than our choice for the first kitchen update. The range is just wonderful! The burners have an even burning flame on all burners, so no matter what pot or pan I use, or what the material of the pan, I get excellent results. The stove top is so easy to keep clean! Spills wipe up easily, and there is never a greasy/smearey look that requires you to re-wipe or polish it.
We are also happy with the electric ignition operation. Other stoves we tested, or in some cases, have checked out in friends' homes, allow some gas to be released before the electronic ignition engages to light the burner. If for instance, you bump against the burner accidently, you can have a release of gas in the home and not know it, causing an unsafe situation.

I was not sure I would like the middle griddle or convection oven but I am in love. I am finding it easy to clean and find it a dream to cook with. The powerboil is a feature I use at least once a day.
