Always used GE appliances went in to buy Stainless Steel, saw this particular model in "slate" and loved it.

I love this stove!

I bought this stove due to the number of power outages we have in our rural area. I have never had a gas stove before, and was kind of scared of gas. This stove not only saves money on your electric bill, it's great to cook on. The food even tastes better. My cast iron skillets do better on the gas stove. I use a pressure canner and was concerned about whether I would be able to control the pressure canner well enough. You have better control over a pressure canner with a gas stove. We just love the stove. I'm sure we'll love it even more, when we're in the middle of a power outage and can still cook.

I have used the convection oven several times and it makes baking so much more enjoyable. The griddle was used for hot dogs on a rainy day this is a plus .

Like the title says, I love my new GE gas range and all of the features. I like the different sized elements on the cook top and the choice of convection in the oven. It is easy to use and the self cleaning oven is wonderful!
