Great stove

After having used this stove for approx. one month, I am very happy with it. The convection oven feature bakes beautifully and we are all satisfied.

POWER BURNER , GRIDDLE

THE KNOBS ON THE FRONT ARE A PROBLEM. WHEN I LEAN IN OVER THE RANGE THEY TURN. THE CORNERS OF THE BOTTOM DRAWER ARE FOLDED OVER INSTEAD OF BEING MOLDED. IT MAKES THE RNGE LOOK UNFINISHED.

Serves the Purpose so far

We have only used this range and oven for 6 weeks .The plus is that it replaces a 16 year old model with similar features except for the convection mode. It looks nice but won't be flush against the wall due to the design of a curved back so sticks out beyond the counter. The burners are already stained and every crumb shows on the dark grey enamel top.
I cleaned it every time it was used and the warning about spilling anything like tomato sauce on the surface is correct.
I see no difference in convection baking except that the fan is on and it seems to take longer to bake. The oven light also remains on when the door is ajar to cool down after baking so wish I could turn it off to save energy.
The control panel is hard to read unless you have an overhead light on an exhaust hood or above stove microwave. Setting the clock has one more step than I am use to.
It is still too early to make a fair assessment like the rack sticking to the sides or being so slippery on top that the cookie sheet almost falls out on you or the factory odor that still lingers with the convection fan on even after the breaking in period.
I am posting this because I have been reminded twice to write a review even though the stove hasn't been given a long enough time for evaluating all features -
I do know I don't care for the middle griddle splattering bacon grease all over the range top- it is not recessed deep enough so maybe it will work for pancakes.
I do enjoy using a new stove but time will tell how it holds up.

Good Features and performance for the price

One reason we purchased this range was because of the door hinges. We had a Frigidaire and the cheep lousy door hinged wouldn't keep it closed. We have had this range long enough to see that the heat pattern is very even and little or no hot spots. Love the center 5th burner.
