Can't wait to start cooking with my new gas range!

I just replaced my old range today and if this new GE gas range cooks as good as it looks in my kitchen I'm going to be thrilled! My last GE refrigerator gave me over 20 years and my GE profile microwave is over 15 years old and still going strong! Looking forward to many good meals with my new convection range!

Stovetop burners undesirable i

I did not realize when I purchased item they gas stove top burners burned around a flat plate. The heat goes around the pans instead of under it. The pan has to fit the eyes perfectly to get decent results. The old style burners heated much better and evenly. Can't even boil water without a top on the pan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not sure I made the right choice!

Bought this range a few weeks ago and was excited to have it installed. Upon arrival the storage drawer was dented, but I have since received anew one. Also,the drawer is pretty small and doesn't open easily. I had other GE stoves and the quality seems to be going down. Another issue is the burner caps stain easily and CAN NOT be cleaned--I tried several solutions without success. It's disappointing to say the least. The griddle was a feature I thought I'd like, bit it's not cast iron or reversible as the sales person had indicated, plus it's an odd shape. Lastly, the oven gives off a lot of heat and the cooktop gets quite hot, too, during baking. That's very concerning since my 2 year old grandson spends a lot of time at my house. I guess I'm wishing I had gone with another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Throw this gas oven in the trash!

The stove is attractive, the gas burners work well, but the gas oven - no way! If I could trade this in I sure would. I have a GE dual fuel stove before and loved it, wish I had kept it. This stove, being stainless & black is hard to keep clean.

Bought this several month ago. still not sold on convection part but I've only use convection once. Be aware you need to clean daily. love the cast iron grates

I bought this a week ago, and i absolutely love it! The oven heats up extremely fast and i love the digital easy set timer and temperature settings. No more clicking the temperature button a bunch of times to get your temp set. now i can just simply hit the temp i need and its ready to go. the oven is very large and theres a power burner for boiling that is super fast. I also love the griddle it is a non stick surface that won't burn anything. love this stove!
