Setting appliance features a real pain

Every year day light saving or power outages we have tried to reset the clock as per owner's manual after a while we just give up and use the micro wave clock!

Great product

I love this gas range! I do a lot of baking, and everything comes out beautifully, the heat seems to be evenly distributed and calibrated correctly. But, three times since last October when using my oven, a circuit breaker trips. Oddly enough it’s the microwave circuit breaker, not the stove circuit breaker that trips. And, I wasn’t using the microwave, only the oven.

I really like it, hit evenly, elegant looking. My only issue is to clean the oven door and the top grill, it cannot get cleaned perfectly and looks damaged old after a while.

I do like this range, it burns hot! I am a little disappointed in quality it is rusting and paint is bubbling around window. Purchased in June 2015 Light stoped working over a year ago. GE used to be my favorite brand. It is no longer. I do not know why rusting started so soon but thought it was worth voicing to GE. What happened to your quality?

Paint is applied to bare metal to prevent oxidation of moisture on the metal, causing rust. After many washings, handling the appliance, and in high humidity areas, the paint eventually becomes porous or wears thin, and moisture gets through to the metal and rust begins.
It appears that the appliance is rusting from the inside out, but it is actually originating from the surface. This is why we emphasize polishing your appliance. This prevents wear on the paint and helps seal out moisture.
For small rust spots that need to be painted, you can order touch-up paint. If you would like to purchase a part, please contact our GE Appliance Parts Center at 1.800.626.2002.

Good range but timer not good

The oven and range operate very well. I especially like the high output stove. My complaint is the very limited timer features. Like you have to reset the timer if you have to increase or decrease the time. Same with temperature. Have to reset to change temp. Mine is 2 years old and knob for the griddle became loose bc the metal knob insert disappeared. How I don't know.

All the lighters do not work well. the big one works after a few clicking sounds, but the others does not work without first turning on the big burner, but when they are on the performance is 5 solid stars :)
