Great appliance!

Very easy to use, performs well and looks good. The oven is powerful and even, but a bit small. The burners are nice but the power burner is too large for even some medium-large pans - a dual ring burner would have been better for distributing heat. Only annoyance is the fan noise when the oven is on (not the convection fan).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 1995, when my husband and I married, we bought a Kitchenaid dual fuel range. It lasted 24 years in the same house. When it finally quit, I bought another one, and I am so very, very pleased that I did. The workmanship is awesome, and it cooks beautifully. I did, however, have to look up the Sabbath mode--a lot has changed over 24 years!

LOVE My Stove!

I have had this stove for almost 4 years now and love almost everything about it. The handles can get pressed when you lean in over the stove, but you hear the pilot clicking. The lead burner is powerful, you have to learn to use the different heats around the stove. Oven is fantastic, convection heat is evenly spread. Zero problems with the stove. Cleaning the stovetop is horrible though. Obviously the grates are heavy but the surface under the grates sucks to clean, it holds food like glue, hard to get clean. And the stove is really fussy about what you can use to clean it, which is great when you know that, but my housesitter scratched the stainless badly just using a sponge with a scrubby. Cleaning is a D on this stove, everything else is an A... so I love it!

This is an awesome range. We looked at Wolf but found this range to be a better value. And it looks awesome. It's the star of our kitchen!

Excellent Range for its size

I have a very small kitchen, and had to remodel it when I moved into my home this past March. But small kitchen did not mean that I wanted to sacrifice quality. So I went with the KitchenAid pro line with everything -- except the range. For this, i upped the ante and went for the dual fuel 30" commercial range. I'm glad I did. This is an excellent appliance for any kitchen. It stands shoulder-to-shoulder with most of the high-end lines and is more economical. Not cheap though.
The controls are easy to navigate, they are in the right place. The cool factors: rugged design and look are noteworthy. I realize that people are becoming quite picky about such things, I know I am because I only like to make one purchase. This really works on all levels.
KitchenAid also made sure to have one ginormous burner and one very small wine with two normal-sized burners as well. I thought I would miss not having a center burner, but with such a small kitchen, it works just fine. I'd rather have more cabinet and counter space.
There are a few drawbacks, like not having a warming drawer or storage for stove-related stuff. This is a bit annoying, but not a big deal in the scheme of things. One other MINOR thing, cleaning the control panel. I find that the touch panel is sensitive to touch whenever I clean it, causing the stove to start. With some experimentation, it appears that using a micro fiber cloth is a reasonable work-around.
Pros: Convenient Features, easy to use, Performance, Innovative, Design
Cons: absence of a warming drawer or storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove about a month ago. It was my first time cooking with a gas stove, but the transition to gas was easy. Oven works great too!
