Not the quality I had hoped for or expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not care for the fact that if there are things far back they almost freeze. The ice maker is NOT at all up to par for several reasons. #1-the 'crusher' does NOT crush, half the time it is 3/4 of a whole cube that comes out; #2 - it does not produce fast enought; and #3 - when it does semi-crush it comes out 'too wet" For being a 'bigger' size than I previously had, it seems to have less room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for our needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looked for about a year for a fridge. Wasn't looking at GE, our older fridge was GE and was falling apart and didn't cool properly. This side by side is a much better quality GE than the top freezer fridge we had before . My kids absolutely love getting ice and water from the door. perfect amount of space in the freezer. Could use a little more room in fridge part. It's hard to store taller items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is very noisy and I had service come to check it out within the first month of it being delivered. The ice maker makes very small cubes that end up sticking together in a large clump. When you use the crush ice feature, you get ice shavings all over the items in the freezer. Bottom line is I wouldn't buy this refrigerator again.
