An Honest Opinion

I admit that I may be trying to attempt an operation incorrectly. The print editing tool that helps focus blurry pictures works well, but I cannot find a way yet to save the picture on my computer afterwards, only print it. Otherwise, I feel that my Canon printer is the best on the market, and I recommend it for anyone entering college, where a multitasking scanner/printer is a necessary tool. I also appreciate good quality color pictures, which I have produced so far, and have expectations of continued quality production on all my different project plans. Thank you.

Fails to print frequently requiring more than one attempt. Have tried I pad and windows 8 computer with same problem. Print quality is fair. Good price but do not recommend.

Very poor quality

Would not recommend. It keeps on giving me issues with connectivity. I had to throw it away after several weeks of usage.

Don't buy

I do not like this printer at all. The pictures come out with no color and I can't get the color to work. My inks are out but my lights and ink level say full. The only thing this is good for is black and white

Feeding Problems!

I've had this printer for a while now for grad school, about 2.5 years. I am constantly dealing with paper feeding issues, even since the beginning. I have run all sorts of diagnostics, cleaned it, etc., to try to fix the problem as suggested, but it doesn't help. I am constantly having to sit next to my printer to make sure the paper is feeding correctly, which defeats the purpose of a wireless printer. It also goes through quite a bit of ink in a short amount of time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the mg5520, based on my past experience with canon products. The quality of the prints and the ease of use is great. But my primary reason for trashing my last printer was it's extreme use of ink, most of which is wasted in cleaning. Sadly the MG5520 seems to use most of it's ink doing the same thing. I replaced all five of the inks and have printed maybe 50 pages black and white, with 10 color pictures. The printer is already showing low on all inks.
