Dead Picture after 3.5 Years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sound but no picture after only 3.5 years of average use. Tried numerous trouble shooting fixes. Read online reviews and it appears several other people with same problem, with same results of only good for 3 years. My LG LCD works fine, after 9 years. Appears LG's LED technology is inferior

Short life span

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2013 we bought it. Now 3 yrs later the screen just went black, but there is sound. 3 yrs is very poor for a product to last and I see it happened to others. Otherwise we were very happy with the TV, options and picture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV was purchased 3.5 years ago and now the LEDs are burnt out so no picture and only sound! I would not recommend this TV because this is now a known issue! LG is suppose to stand for "Life is Good" but it looks to equal "Low Grade".

Very Bad Tru Motion 120 hz :(

I am very unhappy with this product ! Honestly the price and size and smart tv features are great, but there is one big fail. The Tru motion 120 hz has problems. Ive had to return the first one I had because I figured I had bad luck and purchased a defective one, but the second has the same issue. When watching in 120 hz or tru motion .. the picture will be ok until every 5 or so seconds. The picture will be smooth and then shake or vibrate. I believe Judder is the correct term for this. its noticeable when the movie scene is moving left or right ..or up and down. Even the software updates haven't fixed this problem. Very bad tv if your wanting perfect smoothnest. Ive turned up the de-judder setting all the way up, but no help.

Excellent definition and features

After reading many reviews and a hundred different TV's and browsing through all the storesthis LG was the best in it's price range and better than some that were almost twice the cost. Having a Vizio prior to purchase I was blown away even more when I set it up at home, the picture is amazing the speakers have wonderful sound without my sound bar and it's smart features made it easy for it to program our remotes without lifting a finger with easy access to the apps it has to offer. I am very pleased with this purchase and have an even higher regard for the quality LG produces

THIS TV WITH THE MAGIC MOTION REMOTE MAKES WATCHING WHATEVER IS ON AN EXPERIENCE. TRUTHFULLY, IT IS USER FRIENDLY ALONG WITH ALL OF ITS' FINE FEATURES. I COULD NEVER GO BACK TO A STANDARD REMOTE. FOR ME, MANY OF THE APPS I DON'T NEED, HOWEVER, I CAN SEE WHY OTHER CONSUMERS NEED TO INTERACT. THE ADVANCEMENT OF TECHNOLOGY. WHAT TO DO?
