this product has good performance. I wish setup instructions were in writing instead of figuring out how to decipher pictures.

Quick and easy installation

Very surprised and greatful the 5530 printer was so easy to install. Absolutely no problems. Only issue I would raise is that if you did not have a computer vs. an IP you would be unable to install. Luck for me I had an old computer I was able to install the software program.

Good printer decent price

I Cloud Print capable but not without it's share of difficulty. All set up and ready to go but nothing printing. Finally I figured it out that you must go through emailing document/picture to the printer via hpprint.com. To scan document same but to your direct email. I bought it as the ink was reasonably priced compared to the competition with I Cloud print able. The marriage of Chrome OS and HP should be better explained as CD is meaningless as is the manual. At first is was easier sending document to Fed Ex printing services that with code easy as pick up at any of their stores. I hope this helps. Wireless printing not yet-still to be discovered but email printing that it does. they really don't offer much customer service to help the novice along.

I've been happy with all HP products over the years and this HP product is no different. Easy to set up and use. As always, delivery time was good. HP has never disappointed me yet! Haven't had it long enough to base an opinion on ink usage yet.

It prints and copies very well. I especially appreciate the flat top so I can balance an oversize book or picture on the printer and copy a portion of the image. Being able to shrink or expand the copies is also a big plus for me. My only quibble is that the time from pushing the copy button to the actual start of copying is a bit longer than on my old machine (Photosmart D110)

Printer is good looking but erratic

When the printer works, it works well, but it has an annoying habit of taking a nap once in a while, frequently when I print on both sides of a sheet of paper. The first page prints immediately, but the second page takes up to a minute before it prints.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My first piece had some problems with starting features. I called toll free number. After spending 11/2 hrs. with tech support, I could not make it work. Finally I called to return the product. Customer service rep was very polite and requested me to give the product one last chance. I got the replacement very next day. I was easily able to start it. I am not a tech savvy person so guess anybody can start it. I think the first piece was a lemon unfortunately. I would strongly recommend this product.

I truly LOVE my Envy printer/scanner! I had NO problems installing it and it has been working BETTER then ALL the other printers I have ever purchased in the past, including other HP printers!
