Does the trick

I'm pleased with this printer. It is a bit tougher to get up and running simply because it is wireless, and my first one. I normally don't have to read a manual to get one started but I had to in this case. I haven't had it long so haven't really tested the printing quality yet or consumption of ink, both big issues with printers. I have had many printers over the years, and have pretty much determined that HP's are the best, especially in those two areas. So far this model has not disappointed me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

good low volume printer but have trouble getting the scanner to be recognized by paper port 14.

For basic printing, copying, and scanning around the house, this printer will fit your needs. Very convenient to have the capability to scan a document at home.

This "printer" has more bells and whistles than it has printer capabilities. The paper feeder is poorly designed. Paper jams are frequent. The limited amount of paper that can be placed in the supply slot is very limited - no more than 20 sheets of paper can be accomodated. Sorry that I opted to buy this train wreck. HP tech support has gone overtime in an effort to "fix" this nightmare but it is still not a PRINTER. Support people are great but you cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Sorry HP your designers missed the point on this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
