Has some compatability issues.

When trying to access a server via IP address on a different VLAN than the originating PC (on the default VLAN), access is denied. We have a policy in the firewall to allow this connection, which works on other brand switches, but not on the NETGEAR switches.

Warranty: The warranty is amazing, a lifetime warranty on a product that for us should have a 10 year lifespan is unbeatable.Price:Even without the lifetime warranty is a reason to go with it. Interface:The web interface is pretty good, it does take a little getting used to and I am not a network engineer so it may be me, but having purchased 7 over the last 4 years it has stayed consistent, no crazy latest web trends, but a solid interface, even on this newer switch (from the ones from 4 years ago) and it is easy to navigate. It is not been over done.Features:LAG / Trunking and Vlan is the main reason why I purchased these switches and they really do work flawlessly. I also like that they are not really picky with the SFP that is put in there, unlike the other more expensive big playersOverall:I will continue to use Netgear switches since buying my initial 16 port managed switch about 5 years ago. These things are workhorses as they are set up on a farm and are not in ideal conditions and continue to work in buildings through the summer with no AC but just a general fan blowing over them. We only had 1 failure that we think was due to a lightning strike and warranty was great, Simple, Fast ad we were up and running quickly.

While I am not the most network savvy of the crowd I have always preferred the realizability and ease of set up for the Netgear products.

Great Switch with PoE

Excellent performance and easy manageability using both the web page and iOS apps. Really happy with with this upgrade to my old 10/100! Great switch!

To much work

For a simple product and simple use its a huge pain to have to register just to use the product. Was excited about the AV features that the switches have but between registering and the cost of the AVB license not going to bother using.
