I bought a business switch for a home use and didn’t know I needed a sfp gbic connector. I was a little frustrated having to wait to purchase this and have it delivered. So far the switch is meeting my needs.

28 port gigabit POE swtich with SFP ports

Good switch but why do we have to have Insight? Can't get around it. I should be able to manage normally via port forwarding like any other switch! This software feature that should be optional.

Nice Decent PoE Switch with LAG and VLAN support

This is a very nice and seems like a solid built switch. I was able to integrate it with other branded switches. The only thing I wish was that the manual would mention that to change the management IP to a diffrent VLAN, that VLAN must exist as an untagged port somewhere on the switch. It makes sense probably to most users, but in case you had plan to use a trunk link that carries that VLAN, you still need that untagged port on the management VLAN. I used yealink and sangoma phones and they powered right up. I am happy with the switch, the features and the price.
