Not to happy with the re-loading during netflix. It may be the netflixs that is cuting us off, I am not sure. I had to move it away from our DVR. The directions mentioned that the DVR may interfear with the Ruko divice. Other than that we enjoy the device and have power watched may shows.

I bought this Roku 2 so that I could get away from watching so many commercials! The streaming works great, the build quality is excellent, and the pause / restart at my desire is nice too. TV cable cord is now a thing of the past.

I have no complaints we bought ours over six months ago. The picture on my televison is HD quality, very clear and sharp for non HD programs. I only pay for what I want, not a large package of unwanted channels. Would be lost without one.

We were tired of being at the mercy of our only cable provider for entertainment...
and the cost had become exorbitant. Roku gave us good value at a very small percentage of the cost.

some issues

This is my second roku II and I must state that there have been issues that I do not experience with the older device. Both are being used on two different sets. Big issue is that the sound level changes and disappears causing the gist of sentences to be lost. Rebooting helps, but the issue reappears again and again.

I had an older model Roku, and decided to upgrade to the Roku 2. I'm so glad I did. I love the added features, and the ease of use. Having a Roku has allowed me to cancel cable, and saves me a ton of money! Thank you all so much.
