Who Needs Cable

We as a family decided to rid ourselves of cable TV. We were tired of the expense and the sameness of television. Then after reading about Roku we bought Roku 2. We love it. We have Netflix and satellite radio plus plenty of excellent free channels. Thanks to Roku we are happy with are decision to be cableless.

I LOVE my ROKU, I tell everyone about it

I have told so many people about Roku since I purchased it. My friends said I should receive a commission from those who purchased one after talking to me. When I first saw it advertised, I thought it was a hoax, I am a skeptic. I must say I have not missed cable tv at all for close to a year now. I am not "tech" person, but I hooked up two tvs by myself and got it going. Easy to use, easy to understand and more programming than I could ever view in a lifetime...plus programming for kids, adults, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the box is easy to use and setup works well best when used with a HDMI cable. The only down side is there is no off switch the box goes into a sleep mode other than that works great worth the money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got my ROKU for Christmas and for the first 7 months it has been working very well. I really liked the additional feature of having Youtube added, though it is kind of difficult to navigate. I'm guessing that improvements are in the works (hopefully). I mainly watch Netflix, Youtube and documentaries on the player. Lately the ROKU has been shutting down and rebooting in the middle of shows or movies. I've also noticed that the unit has been getting very warm although it it placed in a position to get plenty of air circulation.
Overall it's a great product and has alot of potential. I would recommend a ROKU to anyone considering a purchase, though I would warn them about the problems I've been experiencing lately.

Say GoodBye to Big Cable

I Love it. and I see it putting cable out of Business once people catch on. Shows from the 70s 80,90,Current even. If you don't have one get one you will get rid of cable for ever. Being able to watch what you want instead of whats been force fed. And watching a series from Ep1 to the last is Friggen Awesome....

I've had the Roku 2 for several months! I absolutely love it! No more spending crazy money on monthly cable bills. No more surfing hundreds of channels only to discover nothing interesting is on to watch. Lots of options, lots of entertainment, and extremely affordable.

Love watching my shows on Roku 2 device

I definitely love the variety of channels you can find on the device. Surprised they even had my Korean shows (^_^) One drawback is that the device tends to overheat but I learned to place a mini fan directly on the Roku, which keeps it from slowing down. Although the device has no power button (though manual says it's meant to stay plugged in with power constantly on), I don't mind unplugging the Roku 2 player when i'm finished watching my shows. I've definitely enjoyed all the movies and shows I can stream thru the player. Very Happy.
