I bought the Roku 2 a couple of months ago. Had the Roku stick, but it seemed a lot slower. I had the Roku 2 before, but the audio stop working on it and returned it. This second one I bought seems to work great and a lot faster loading.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had my Roku for a few months and I have loved watching all of those programs I have been watching on my computer. Now I can sit back and relax and see those programs on my TV, bigger is better!!

Great Product

I had a previous version of Roku. That one was good but this one is great. The user interface has been improved and the faster processor (and memory?) shows in features like the ability to search for an actor or title. I do wish I'd gotten the Roku 3 2 with the wired interface although I have no complaints about the wireless interface (jitter, etc).
I would recommend this to a friend!

The pro's and con's of the Roku 2

I have both a Roku 2 and a Roku 3 so I can let you know what the benefits of the 2 are along with the con's. First the Roku 2 does allow you to connect to TV's that you might not be able to connect to with an older TV. I have a large screen TV that is HDTV ready but is not an HDTV so I had to buy the Roku @ instead of the 3 for one of my rooms. The downfall of this is that on netflix you get advantages on the 3 that you do not get on the 2. For instance on the 3 it will connect you to different play lists on netflix while on the 2 it will not. So far that is really the only major difference I have found between the 2 machines. I like them both but I do like the 3 more I only wish I were able to connect it to my older TV.

I am gadget challenged and find the whole ROKU system very easy to understand and have enjoyed many hours of streaming entertainment from a wide selection
